Backcountry flying can be from anywhere to anywhere while City to City charters refer to air travel from paved surface to paved surface. We understand the beautiful, challenging terrain and the strong, unpredictable winds and weather that characterize our state.  We know about density altitudes and the summer afternoon thunderstorms that gather without warning in the mountains and canyons.  But we also know about the fun side too.  So rest assured, we'll provide all of the expertise and enthusiasm needed for your journey whatever time of the year it happens to be.

McCall Air can get you to those remote locations that are very difficult, if not impossible, to get to by any other means than air travel. The Pacific Northwest is rugged at best, and sometimes the road stops just where you want to get going. Even if the road does extend far enough to take you where you want to go, it’s going to be a long, bumpy ride. And if you’re on vacation, the last thing you want to do is waste time ‘getting there.’ Have one of our highly knowledgeable pilots take you into those remote locations and start having fun as soon as possible.

Spring, summer and autumn months keep us busy transporting wilderness aficionados all over the Northwest for white-water rafting, hunting, hiking and camping fun. We also serve backcountry ranches and communities by delivering groceries and mail during the snow-locked Idaho winters with our ski-equipped aircraft. Charter flights are used more and more by snow-sports enthusiasts for winter camping and enjoying wildlife via ski plane or for just getting away from it all.
