Idaho's Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness is the largest roadless area in the continental US. Roaming the 2.4 million acres of clear rivers, deep canyons, and rugged mountains are an abundance of wildlife, namely elk, mule deer, sheep, whitetail deer, moose, bear and mountain goats.
Big game hunting in the Frank Church Wilderness is unmatched. The healthy population of trophy animals is maintainable due to the area's remoteness. No vehicle access is permitted, with the exception of 18 remote airstrips which were preserved when the wilderness was designated by Congress in 1980.
