NEW OWNERS AND NEW NAME FOR McCall AIR TAXI
McCall Aviation builds on back-country flying expertise to provide full range of air services.

McCall, Idaho – Leveraging the 29-year history of this family-owned McCall air charter institution, new owners are bringing additional resources, a focus on service and operational excellence to the leading air charter company in the area.

Dan Scott, President of the new McCall Aviation, is returning home to McCall to run this company that provides air charter service, specializing in back-country flying, and a full range of passenger and aircraft services.

"Flying is my passion and I am pleased to have an opportunity to work with the Dorris family to take the company to a whole new level,” says Scott. “McCall Air Taxi has a rich heritage, a committed team of expert pilots and staff, and a passion for sharing the best of Idaho. Through McCall Aviation, we are looking forward to bringing more energy and resources to the company to build it into the premier niche air carrier in the western United States.”

Scott, himself a pilot, joins the team of 10 veteran McCall Air Taxi pilots and 2 new pilots to run the fleet of 12 airplanes which provide backcountry charters, city-to-city flights, scenic, and other tourist flights throughout the Western US. McCall Aviation operates complete facilities in McCall and Salmon, providing a full range of aircraft services including fuel, maintenance, and fixed-based operations. The company also operates a ticket counter and gate at the Boise Airport and has seasonal operations in Stanley, Idaho.

McCall Aviation is the parent company of McCall Air, an FAA Part 135 Air Carrier which provides passenger and freight charter services. McCall Aviation has fixed base operations in McCall and Salmon, Idaho and provides a full range of passenger services as well as aviation fuels, aircraft maintenance, and rental cars.
